Getting ready

Cookies, a sophisticated (and until now undisclosed) technique used by wedding planners to ensure that flower girls sit patiently through their hair and makeup sessions.

The bride gets the limo, the groom takes a cab

A personal favorite, this London taxi is exquisitely luxurious on the inside. And just a perfect for the quick getaway

The Puck Building

Few venues are more quintessentially
New York than the Puck Building
This is about pampering yourself before the wedding as you get ready (btw, no chocolate chip cookies, no red wine or grape juice.)

Another picture of Cop Cot

Notice that we did not add anything to the structure, just a linen runner. Some things should be left unadorned, allowing their natural beauty to show through.

Who said you need a classical trio?

The ceremony for this wedding took place in Cop Cot in New York's Central Park. Cop Cot is old english for "cottage on a hill," so the bagpiper was fitting. The effect was both romantic and a little bit haunting.

Another view of the Peter White Studio. The chairs, designed by Bellini, have won numerous design awards. This visually stunning kind of seating is often referred to as picnic style. It is delightfully intimate for a smaller wedding, and dramatic (think Versailles) in a larger more ornate setting.
One of the great things about white walls - in particular the white walls you will find in a loft - is that they can become the proverbial empty canvas. The right tables, chairs, place settings and lighting (including candles) can totally transform the space, as they do at this wedding in the Peter White Studio.
For an Aspen Mountain Lodge wedding, we wanted to maintain a rustic yet elegant feel. We used a combination of simple pine branches and beautifully hand calligraphied escort cards to accomplish this.
